A new found winner in most of the kitchens these days, spice up your boring breakfast with Mille’s Little Millets. This easy to make recipe is made with a handful of basic ingredients and can be eaten not just for breakfast, but whenever your mood strikes for something healthy!
Ingredients
- 1 cup Mille’s Little Millet, rinsed and drained
- 3 cups milk
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 medium apple chopped
- Pinch of cinnamon
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 chopped almond (optional)
Method
- In a small pot, add millet, 2 cups of milk and salt over medium heat and let it cook for about 10-15 mins until the millet is cooked. Keep stirring occasionally.
- Once cooked, remove from the stove and mix ¾ portion of the chopped apple.
- Add 1 cup of milk slowly, while stirring, to make the porridge creamier.
- Remove from flame, and top the porridge with freshly chopped apple, cinnamon, honey and chopped almonds.
