Fusilli Red Sauce High Protein Pasta

  • 1/2 cup (50g) Millé Pasta
  • 5-6 ripe sweet tomatoes
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 onion finely chopped
  • 1 tsp chilli flakes, 1 tsp oregano, ½ tsp black pepper, Italian herbs and salt as per taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • For Garnish
  • 4-5 Basil leaves
  • Parmesan Cheese

Millé Pasta Preparation

  • In a pan, boil ½ cup of water with a tsp of salt. Once water comes to boil, add Millé pasta and cook for 6-7 minutes on high flame and stir occasionally.
  • 2. Drain the pasta and rinse in cold water. Keep aside.

Red Sauce Preparation

  • Boil tomatoes in a vessel for 5mins. Make sure you don’t overcook the tomatoes. Peel the skin.
  • Blend the tomatoes to make puree.
  • In a separate pan, saute the garlic and onions in olive oil. Add chilli flakes, black pepper, oregano and your preferred Italian herbs and salt to taste. Saute well.
  • Pour the tomato puree and add tomato sauce. Cook for 2 minutes, or until the sauce is cooked.
  • Remove from flame. Fold in the boiled pasta and mix well.
  • Garnish with parmesan cheese and basil leaves. Serve hot.


  • Do not overcook pasta as it turns mushy while serving.
  • Adjust the spice to your choice.
  • Use tomatoes that are ripe and juicy.
